Former Wake Forest basketball player **Juke Harris** entered the transfer portal following his **sophomore** 2025-26 season with the Demon Deacons, committing to **Tennessee** for 2026-27\.

In **2025-26**, Harris averaged **21.4 PPG, 6.5 RPG,** and buried **87 three-pointers**.

There is only **one** other NCAA Division I male, since **1980-81**, who averaged at least **21** PPG, **6.5** RPG, and made **80+ threes** in their **sophomore** season:

**Ray Allen** (1994-95) **\-** 21.1 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 85 threes made

**Allen**, however, had a considerably **higher 3P%** compared to **Harris**:

Allen: 85/191 **(44.5%)**, Harris: 87/262 **(33.2%)**

🏀

As a ****freshman** in ****2024-25**, ****Harris** appeared in ****31** games averaging ****6.1** PPG and ****2.8** RPG in ****19 minutes** per game.

He made considerable **leaps** in ****PPG (+15.3)** and ****RPG (+3.7)** from his ****freshman** to ****sophomore** season.

The NCAA men's players to go from averaging ****6.5 PPG** or ****less** their ****freshman** year to **21 PPG** or **more** their ****sophomore** year (min. 30 GP both seasons) are:

****1\. Juke Harris (2024-25 to 2025-26)** \= 6.1 PPG > 21.4 PPG
2\. Ben Stanley (2018-19 to 2019-20) = 4.4 PPG > 22.0 PPG
3\. Grayson Allen (2014-15 to 2015-16) = 4.4 PPG > 21.4 PPG
4\. Ben Bentil (2014-15 to 2015-16) = 6.4 PPG > 21.1 PPG

If we slightly increase the ****6.5** PPG ****freshman** average to ****7.5 PPG** or **less** (still min. 30 GP both seasons), ****2022** NBA Draft ****4th** overall pick **Keegan Murray** enters the fold:

2020-21 to 2021-22 = ****7.2 PPG** \> **23.5 PPG**

**\*Just missing both of these parameter sets is* ***David Robinson** *(also referenced in* [**Note #002 on Flory Bidunga's historical efficiency*](https://www.lemmonlabs.io/note-002-flory-bidunga-historical-stat-line-efficiency/)**), who had a similar freshman-to-sophomore leap (1983-84 to 1984-85): 7.6 PPG > 23.6 PPG (32 GP as sophomore, 28 GP as freshman).*

***Charles Bradley** *(1981-82 to 1982-83) also did: 5.0 PPG > 26.7 PPG (32 GP as sophomore, 28 GP as freshman).*
