Former Notre Dame basketball player **Jalen Haralson** entered the transfer portal after his **freshman** 2025-26 season with the Fighting Irish, committing to **Tennessee** for the 2026-27 season.

In **2025-26**, Haralson averaged **16.2 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.6 APG**, and **4.5 FT/G** while shooting **51.5%** from the floor on **301** FGA.

The **four** other **freshmen** in NCAA Division I men's history, **since** **1953-54**, to average at least **16** PPG, **4** RPG, **2.5** APG, **4.5** FT/G while shooting at least **51.5%** from the field on **300+** FGA:

1\. James Harden (2007-08) - 17.8 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 3.2 APG, 52.7 FG% (372 FGA)

Of note, Haralson had the **lowest** FGA, and also appeared in **27** GP (all others 32+ GP).
