Note #044: Trevon Brazile (Frame and Game)
Former Missouri and Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile has exhausted his college eligibility, entering the 2026 NBA Draft.
As a redshirt senior in 2025-26 for the Razorbacks, the 6'9" Brazile brought it with the below per game production (36 GP, 31.5 MP/G):
- 13.0 PPG
- 7.3 RPG
- 1.6 APG
- 1.5 SPG
- 1.6 BPG
Since 1947-48, there have been ten (including Brazile) NCAA Division I men's players to average at least 13 PPG, 7 RPG, 1.5 APG, 1.5 SPG, 1.5 BPG across 35+ GP in a single season. The other nine:
15-16 PPG
1. Jalen Slawson (2022-23) - 15.6 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 3.2 APG, 1.5 SPG, 1.5 BPG (36 GP, 30.7 MP/G)
2. Ed Pinckney (1984-85) - 15.6 PPG, 8.9 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.5 SPG, 1.8 BPG (35 GP, 33.9 MP/G)
3. Robert Horry (1991-92) - 15.8 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.5 SPG, 3.5 BPG (!) (35 GP, 33.9 MP/G)
16-17 PPG
4. Wes Johnson (2009-10) - 16.5 PPG, 8,5 RPG, 2.2 APG, 1.7 SPG, 1.8 BPG (35 GP, 35.0 MP/G)
5. Harold Pressley (1985-86) - 16.8 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 2.4 APG, 2.2 SPG, 2.2 BPG (37 GP, 34.8 MP/G)
17-18 PPG
6. Marqus Blakely (2009-10) - 17.3 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 3.7 APG, 2.4 SPG, 1.9 BPG (35 GP, 33.7 MP/G)
7. Yaxel Lendeborg (2024-25) - 17.7 PPG, 11.4 RPG, 4.2 APG, 1.7 SPG, 1.8 BPG (37 GP, 33.6 MP/G)
18-20 PPG
8. Shane Battier (2000-01) - 19.9 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.8 APG, 2.1 SPG, 2.3 BPG (39 GP, 34.9 MP/G)
20+ PPG
9. Danny Manning (1987-88) - 24.8 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.8 SPG, 1.9 BPG (38 GP, 35.2 MP/G)
Johnson was the only junior to reach the above baselines. The others were seniors.
Also to note, Pinckney (1984-85) and Pressley (1985-86) reached the per game thresholds in back-to-back seasons at Villanova.
For fun, let's look at just former SEC players (since 1947-48) to meet the above per game thresholds (no min. GP this time):
Brazile and Horry are two of just four. The others:
1. Shaquille O'Neal (1990-91) - 27.6 PPG, 14.7 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.5 SPG, 5.0 BPG!
2. Reggie Hanson (1990-91) - 14.4 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.5 SPG, 1.9 BPG
As you can see, O'Neal and Hanson both met the criteria in the same season (1990-91), and both also appeared in 28 games.
Horry hit these baselines the following season (1991-92), and was the last SEC player to do so since Brazile ~35 years later.
Lastly, in 2025-26, just one other NCAA DI men's player met the above per game marks besides Brazile:
Rafael Castro - 15.3 PPG, 9.1 RPG, 1.7 APG, 1.8 SPG, 1.7 BPG (29 GP, 27.3 MP/G)
Castro, like Brazile, is also a 2026 NBA Draft hopeful.
Lendeborg, a National Champion in 2026 and another Draft declarant, landed in Note #033 (Michael Ajayi) and Note #035 (Aaron Nkrumah).
Battier was brought to light in Note #019 on Allen Graves, while Manning was a made man in Note #026 on Nolan Minessale.
Shaq secured his spot early (Note #002 on center Flory Bidunga).
